    Vinted Listing Template

A reusable Vinted listing template for title, details, condition, and description — plus a realistic example you can copy and adapt.

A folded sweater beside a notebook and pen on a sunlit desk, ready for a reusable listing template

You do not need a new personality for every garment. You need the same facts in the same order so you stop staring at a blank box.

Copy this, keep it in your notes, and fill the brackets.

    The template

Title [Brand] [item type] [colour] [cut/style] [size]

    In the Vinted fields

    • Brand: [Brand or “no brand”]
    • Item type / category: [Jeans / Coat / Trainers…]
    • Size: [as on the label, plus region if useful — EU 38, UK 10]
    • Colour: [main colour]
    • Condition: [new with tags / very good / good / satisfactory — and mean it]

    In the description

[One or two factual sentences: what it is, fabric or notable details.]

    Condition: [plain-language condition]
    Defects: [none, or name them]
    Size: [label size]
Measurements: [only if useful — waist, length, pit-to-pit]
    Material: [if you know it]

[Hashtags only if they match the item]

Skip any line you cannot fill honestly.

    Example: a pair of jeans

    Title Levi’s 501 blue straight-leg jeans W30 L32

Fields Brand Levi’s · Category Jeans · Size W30 · Colour blue · Condition good

    Description

Levi’s 501 straight-leg jeans in medium blue denim. Button fly, regular waist.

Condition: Good pre-owned condition. Light fade on the thighs, no holes.
Defects: Small speckle mark on the back right pocket (shown in photos).
    Size: W30 L32
Measurements: Waist 40 cm flat · Inside leg 81 cm
    Material: Denim

    #Levis501 #StraightLegJeans #BlueDenim

That is enough for someone to know whether to message you. It is not a brand story.

How to reuse it without sounding identical

Change the facts. Keep the order. A coat listing should not mention a button fly. A silk blouse should mention snags, not thigh fade.

The template exists so you do not forget defects and measurements. It is not a script to paste unchanged onto a jumper.

For which words belong in the title, read Vinted keywords.

When typing is the slow part

If you already have photos and you still do not list because of the writing, generate your Vinted listing from those photos. Check the brand, size, and flaws, then paste into Vinted.

If the title is fine and only the description is blank, try the Vinted description generator and keep your own title.

The template above still helps: use it as a checklist against whatever the generator produced. If a line is missing or wrong, you will notice.

A clear listing is only half of selling. Photos, price, and replies are the rest — that is how to sell faster on Vinted.

    Common questions

Do I have to fill every line of the template?
No. Skip anything you do not know. An empty material line is better than a guessed fabric.
Can I generate this template from photos instead of typing it?
Yes. Upload photos to the Vinted listing generator, copy the draft, and keep or rewrite any line. You still paste the text into Vinted yourself.
